SET YOUR GOALS!

Colleagues have taught me over the years that if you don't set goals for yourself, you will probably carry on through life believing that this is as good as it gets.
Some lucky individuals achieve success but many people get to the end of their careers and look back and wish they had done things differently, made different decisions, taken more chances and been more successful. For me the problem is that so many people, companies and schools fail to embrace a culture of change, ideas and innovation. The status quo is easy but it is simply about stagnation and stops colleagues being inspired, innovative, creative or moving forward. We must embrace life-long learning, remaining open to new opportunities, finding new ways of doing things and building success. Embrace change, set your goals, take time to plan, communicate frequently, welcome feedback and adjust your plan when necessary as you move forward!
