North Yorkshire Dales!

I spent a wonderful day yesterday in the North Yorkshire Dales visiting two farm parks; Thornton Hall Farm Country Park and Hesketh Farm Park.

Thornton Hall Farm Country Park is on the Yorkshire-Lancashire border between Skipton, Colne and Clitheroe - just a stone's throw from the Ribble Valley and the Yorkshire Dales. The Farm Park combines some wonderfully friendly farm animals, a huge visitor play barn, a cafe and outdoor paddocks and rides. All on a very clean working farm

Hesketh Farm is a modern working farm with over 1000 sheep and beef cattle at Bolton Abbey near Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales. The Farm Park has a great combination of extremely friendly animals, huge indoor fun and play area and lots of outdoor play, paddocks and rides.
