Did you see the Moon?

Apparently, we had the biggest full moon tonight for eighteen years...

The 'super perigee moon' occurs when the moon is at its closest to Earth during its elliptical orbit. According to NASA, when this happens during a full moon, the moon appears up to 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than normal. The illusion is most obvious at sunset, when full moons tend to look bigger anyway.
